Provide foundational knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation, intervention, and outcomes specific to geriatric conditions as well as ethical and legal issues impacting service delivery and end of life decisions. Emphasis is placed on the occupational therapy process related to occupational performance, context, and participation utilizing the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) and the Ecology of Human Performance (EHP).
