MGMT 3510 - Human Resources Management(3 credits) Prerequisites: C or better in MGMT 3000 .
Introduces the strategic and operational roles of human resource management in organizations. Topics include workforce planning, job analysis, recruiting, talent acquisition, selection, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. Emphasis is placed on the legal and ethical context of HR, compliance with workplace regulations, and emerging issues in employment law. The course highlights HR’s role as a strategic partner in driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and sustainable business practices.
