CHEM 2030 - Environmental Chemistry

(3 credits)
Prerequisites: CHEM 1120  and CHEM 1121 

Provides an introduction to the organic and inorganic compounds that have the potential to cause damage to living systems, and an examination of processes that affect the movement and persistence of contaminants in air, aquatic environments, and soil. This course also explores the metabolic and ecological effects of these chemicals in living systems.
