EMED 3003 - Junior Emergency Medicine Clerkship

(8 credits/4 weeks)

Required of all third-year medical students.
This clerkship provides an introduction to the field of Emergency Medicine. Students will be directly involved in caring for Emergency Department patients, and will discuss the patients with their supervising attending. In addition, students will partake in a high-fidelity simulation lab experience and a didactics session. Students will be responsible for a short case presentation as well at the end of the clerkship.
