PMCY 1113 - Introduction into Physical Pharmacy1 The physicochemical properties that impact a drug’s performance both on the pharmacy shelf as well as after it is consumed by the patient, are the focus of this course. The subject of Physical Pharmacy integrates the principles of physics and chemistry necessary for understanding the design and development of various dosage forms that students will study in P1 spring, for optimal patient compliance and outcomes.
