CSCI 1100 - Using Information Technology(0-3 credits) Introduces critical evaluation and responsible participation in an increasingly digital society, analyze information sources, identify bias, and examines social, cultural, economic, and ethical influences on technology use. Topics may include web and media literacy, cybersecurity, data literacy, artificial intelligence, and digital citizenship. Emphasis is placed on applying evidence-based reasoning and perspective-taking to support informed decision-making, personal well-being, and responsible engagement in local and global communities.
