CSCI 1200 - Think Logically with Python(3 credits) Introduces logical thinking and foundational problem-solving skills through the use of Python. Emphasizes computational reasoning, algorithmic thinking, problem decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and basic programming logic. Provides an accessible entry point into programming by focusing on how to analyze problems and design solutions before implementation. Serves as a preparatory pathway for further study in logical thinking, problem solving, and programming.
Notes: Note: Students who have completed CSCI 1250 or its equivalent with a B- or better may not take this course.
