CJCR 4801 - Field Experience II in Criminal Justice(3-9 credits) Prerequisites: Prior arrangement with instructor, senior status, and departmental approval of application.
Provides a placement opportunity for those who have previously taken or are currently enrolled in Field Experience I. Placement is in a local or regional criminal justice agency or facility, including orientation, observation, conferences, and work experience. Selection of placement agency/facility and required hours are determined in consultation with course instructor. An approved departmental application is required prior to enrollment. Credit hours earned for the course are based upon placement hours within the agency/facility. Three credit hours requires 120 placement hours, six credit hours requires 240 placement hours, and nine credit hours requires 360 placement hours.
