BIOL 4227 - Wildlife Ecology and Management(4 credits) Prerequisites: BIOL 3100 and BIOL 3141 and either BIOL 3200 or BIOL 3300
Provides a broad overview of ecological principles related to animals. Topics may include span multiple levels of organization, including individuals, populations, and communities, to build a comprehensive understanding of animal ecology and management. The course utilizes and evaluates primary literature as case studies to explore hypotheses and research methods used in the field. Through a hands-on research project, direct experience with the scientific process is explored by designing and conducting an experiment, analyzing data, writing a scientific paper, and presenting findings to peers.
