CSCI 4647 - Network Defense and Countermeasures

Prerequisites: C- or better in CSCI 3400 and C- or better in CSCI 3500

Provides comprehensive cybersecurity training in threat analysis, network protection, and incident response. Topics may include network defense strategies, cloud and wireless security, physical security, endpoint protection, data encryption, firewall configuration, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPN setup, system hardening, incident response, patch management, and advanced threat analysis.
