NRSE 2031 - Health Assessment and Fundamentals Skills Lab(2 credits) Prerequisites: Acceptance to the nursing major.
Corequisites: NRSE 2030
Provides experiential applications of essential nursing principles, clinical judgment, and communication strategies necessary for conducting comprehensive health assessments across adult populations. This course facilitates the development of competency in ethical and professional behavior, physical assessment techniques, and documentation standards. Emphasis is placed on applying clinical judgment to interpret assessment findings and deliver safe, person-centered care across laboratory, simulated, and community-based settings.
