NRSE 2100 - Nutrition for Clinical Health Professions

(2 credits)
Prerequisites: Acceptance to the nursing major.

Integrate concepts of nutrition into clinical decision-making by providing an overview of nutrient science, therapeutic diets, drug-nutrient interactions, and malnutrition screening relevant to healthcare practice. Emphasis on equity, affordability, and interprofessional teamwork.
