NRSE 3141 - Health Care Systems Leadership Practicum(1 credit) Prerequisites: Completion of all previous semester coursework.
Corequisites: NRSE 3140
Provides supervised experiential learning focused on the application of leadership, management, policy, and interprofessional collaboration concepts within real-world healthcare settings. This course provide engagement in structured clinical experiences that emphasize leadership decision-making, team coordination, quality and safety initiatives, and systems-level problem solving. Through guided practice, mentorship, and reflective activities, the course facilitates the application of evidence-based strategies to support innovation, influence healthcare policy and practice, and contribute to improvements in patient outcomes across diverse healthcare environments.
