CJCR 5027 - Media and Crime

Examination of relationship between media and crime, with special emphasis on television. Course content examines both reporting and non-news media content relevant to crime and the criminal justice system, the study of audience effects, and different response theories about media dissemination of news, opinion, information, and entertainment.
