Prerequisites: ECON 2210 and ECON 2220. An overview of the structure and performance of the United States economy. Review and evaluation of public policies adopted to improve economic performance, such as antitrust and public utility regulation. Current issues include competitiveness, deregulation, high technology, and foreign competition.
