(3 credits)Prerequisites: Senior standing or permission of instructor. A survey of methods in computer-based authoring systems. This course will cover the design, implementation, and evaluation of computer-based training modules using one or more authoring systems. Emphasis will be on the use of hypermedia and multimedia tools, analysis of instructional goals and their evaluation, and using the World Wide Web for delivery of instruction. Laboratory experiences and group projects will be integral parts of this course.
