HDAL 5250 - Counseling in Community Agencies(3 credits) Prerequisites: An understanding of psychology terminology. This course is a survey of theoretical and applied information for counselors working in community mental health agencies. Course content includes history and philosophy, roles of workers, organizational and delivery systems, program development and evaluation, consultation, specific populations, interviewing, prevention and intervention strategies, and current issues related to agency counseling.
