MATH 2190 - Introduction to Computational Biology

(3 credits)
This course introduces students to the general concepts of calculus, probability theory, fractals, game theory and other mathematical tools to ecology, evolution, genetics and genomics. Concepts covered may include equilibrium, stability, emergence of complexity, hypothesis testing, Bayesian inference, genetic algorithms etc.
