GEOG 4900 - Senior Theses

(3 credits)

Prerequisites: Permission of department chair is required. Only with permission of instructor and chair. A Geosciences faculty member, chosen by the student, will direct a year-long, 6-credit-hour senior thesis project. The chair of Geosciences and one additional faculty member will act as readers. Upon permission of the chair and participating faculty member, the student will enroll first in GEOL/GEOG 4905 Independent Study: Senior Project (3 credits). Upon adequate completion of the independent study, the student will enroll in the following semester in GEOL/GEOG 4900. A public presentation of the completed senior project is required.
