The Department of Communication and Performance offers programs in Communication Studies and Storytelling. Our department pursues the following objectives as we educate and train our students: to provide professional preparation for careers in communication and the performing arts; to provide leadership training and development; and to help students and graduates use communication and performance skills, talents, and knowledge to create more humane social worlds.
The Department of Communication and Performance offers a B.A. and B.S. in Communication Studies. In addition, we offer minors in Storytelling, and Communication Studies.
A minor is required for all students majoring in this department.
Graduate Study
The Department of Communication and Performance, in partnership with the Department of Mass Communication, also offers a master’s degree in Professional Communication. See the Graduate Catalog for further information.
