The Nursing Education Certificate program provides a formal program of study for master’s prepared nurses interested in obtaining a credential allowing them to teach in Schools of Nursing. The program provides them with the content necessary to teach nursing students in a specific area of nursing. Once students complete the certificate, they are eligible to sit for the national certification exam in this area. This certificate is the optimal way for those already holding a masters degree and desiring this specialization to gain marketability without having to complete an entire second master’s degree.
