Spanish Minor Program Information

Each course is three (3) credits. There are nine (9) required credits in Spanish, three (3) credits of a Spanish Civilization or Survey elective, and nine (9) credits of Spanish electives, at least three (3) credits of which must come from a course in Applied Spanish. Courses beyond the required classes are selected in consultation with the student’s advisor, based on relevance to the student’s background and interests. Spanish Minor Requirements: 21 credits
A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 18 credits of which at least 9 credits must be at the 3000-level or above. Required Core Courses: 9 credits
Spanish Civilization or Survey Elective: 3 credits
Choose one (1) from the following: Spanish Electives: 9 credits
At least 3 credits of which must come from Applied Spanish*, indicated with an asterisk. |
