A minor in anthropology requires the completion of 18 credits. Students must earn at least a grade of C in each required course in the minor and achieve an overall grade point average of 2.0 in courses counted for the minor.

Anthropology Minor Course Requirements: 18 credits

At least 9 credits must be at the 3000-level or above.

• ANTH 1240 - Introduction to Cultural Anthropology (3 credits)
• ANTH 1260 - Introduction to Archaeology (3 credits)
• ANTH 1280 - Introduction to Physical Anthropology (3 credits)
• ANTH or SOAA Electives (9 credits) *

  * Students are strongly advised to complete ANTH 1240 , ANTH 1260 , and ANTH 1280  before enrolling in anthropology elective courses.
