French Minor Pre-requirements

• FREN 1010 - Beginning French I (3 credits) *
• FREN 1020 - Beginning French II (3 credits) *

• *Based on placement test or equivalent.

French Minor Requirements: 21 credits

At least 9 credits must be at the 3000-level or above.

• FREN 2020 - Second-Year French II (3 credits)
• FREN 3010 - French Conversation and Composition I (3 credits)
• FREN 3310 - French Civilization (3 credits)
• FREN 3510 - Survey of French Literature Before 1700 (3 credits)
• FREN 3610 - Survey of French Literature After 1700 (3 credits)
• FREN 4017 - Advanced French Grammar (3 credits)
• FREN 4900 - Independent Study in French (1-3 credits) (3 credits required)
• FREN 4957 - Topics in French (1-6 credits) (3 credits required)
