Political Science is the study of government, politics, and public policy in the United States and other countries, and of the relations among nations and states in the world community. The Political Science minor provides students with factual knowledge of these subjects and with the ability to analyze and evaluate governments, political systems, public policies, and international relations. It can be combined with a range of majors, including international affairs, history, criminal justice, economics, business, public health, and more, in order to expand a student’s employment opportunities in government (federal, state, or local), education, journalism, international institutions, and business.
