The minor in Human Development and Learning (HDAL) minor consists of 18 credits. It is advised that Human Services Majors NOT minor in HDAL.

Human Development and Learning Minor: 18 credits

A grade of C- or above must be earned in all minor courses.

Required Courses: 18 credits

• HDAL 2320 - Child Psychology (3 credits)
• HDAL 2330 - Adolescent Development and Psychology (3 credits)
• HDAL 2335 - Adult Development (3 credits)
• HDAL 3610 - Counseling Theory and Practice (3 credits)
• HDAL 4011 - Developmental Psychology II Through the Life Span (3 credits)
• HDAL 4666 - Cultural Influences in Development (3 credits)

Minor Information

A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 15 credits of which at least 6 credits must be at the 3000-level or above.
