The Spanish for the Professions minor is an interdisciplinary minor intended for advanced Spanish students seeking to use their Spanish in a professional field.
Double Counting Courses:
Only 9 credits (SPAN 3010 and SPAN 3020 and one Spanish for the Professions elective) can be used to count for both the Foreign Languages Major, B.A. (Spanish Concentration) and the Spanish for the Professions minor.
Transfer and Residency Policy
Students transferring to ETSU and wishing to receive a minor in a foreign language must complete at least 9 credits of upper division courses for the minor at ETSU.

Spanish for the Professions Minor Pre-requirements
Spanish for the Professions Minor: 18 credits
Required Core: 12 credits
Spanish Electives: 3 credits
Interdisciplinary Elective: 3 credits
Minor Information
A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 15 credits, of which at least 6 credits must be at the 3000-level or above. |
