The minor in Family Studies consists of 18 credits. A grade of “C” or above must be earned in all of the 15 credits of required course work for this minor. 

Double Counting Course Restriction

Students who major in Human Services and minor in Family Studies can double-count only ONE COURSE (3 credits) from the following:  HDAL 1110; HDAL 2320; HDAL 3110; HDAL 4011; HDAL 4950; HDAL 4127 or HDAL 4137.

Family Studies Minor: 18 credits


Minor Information


A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 15 credits, of which at least 6 credits must be at the 3000-level or above.
