The Master of Science in Environment, Health, and Disaster Sciences is an interdisciplinary graduate program that prepares students to address complex challenges at the human-animal-environment interface. The program integrates environmental health, geosciences, epidemiology, infectious disease, and disaster sciences to provide advanced training in research, analysis, and applied problem solving. The program is especially relevant to Central Appalachia, where environmental pressures, extreme weather, geological hazards, and public health vulnerabilities create a strong need for interdisciplinary expertise.
