The Entrepreneurship Minor is comprised of coursework (Minor Core Field and Electives) from six departments and two colleges. A broad-based educational platform provides the students in this minor with a diverse perspective on what is needed to conceptualize, initiate and manage a new or existing business venture.
 

Entrepreneurship Minor: 18 Credit Hours


A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 18 semester credit hours of which at least 9 hours must be at the 3000-level or above.

 

Electives: 6 credit hours


 Guided electives must be chosen in consultation with the Entrepreneurship Minor curriculum coordinator. Electives include existing courses such as:

FNCE 3210 Personal Finance 

MGMT 4547 Corporate Etiquette 

ENTC 4357 CIM Applications 

MGMT 4357 CIM Applications 

ENGL 4957 Topics in English  (Topics in Grant Writing)

MGMT 4905 Management Internship  or internship in other majors (e.g., Music, Art, Chemistry, etc.)
