Computer Science Minor: 23 Credit Hours


A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 18 semester credit hours of which at least 9 hours must be at the 3000-level or above.

     A C- or better is required in each of the courses taken to study the requirements of the minor.

          **

     

    The CSCI electives must be approved by a CSCI department advisor. The major CSCI electives cannot include CSCI 1200, CSCI 1100, CSCI 1101, CSCI 1102, CSCI 1105, Cooperative Education courses, or Internship courses.

    Note :

     

     

    Students considering a minor in computing must speak with the CSCI department advisor to review course prerequisites and establish a coursework sequence prior to beginning coursework. Students working toward a minor must satisfy the prerequisite requirements and the grade requirements for all courses in the minor. The grade requirements are B- or better in CSCI 1250, C- or better in all other courses, and a 2.50 GPA in the courses inthe minor.
