Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a system for creating, storing, analyzing, managing, and presenting spatial data. The minor consists of 18 credit hours of study.

Geographic Information Systems Minor: 18 Credit Hours


A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 18 semester credit hours of which at least 9 hours must be at the 3000-level or above.

Note:


Students who choose a minor in geology will find that most of these courses carry (4) four credit hours of credit.
