(3 credits)Prerequisites:PHSI 5000 or consent of the instructor. This course examines selected aspects of cardiovascular function. Topics presented include multiple aspects of blood pressure control, microvascular physiology, and theoretical considerations related to hypertensive disease and microcirculatory disorders. Emphasis will be placed upon examination of research literature. (alternate years)
