(2 credits) The students will have the opportunity to learn the theory and psychomotor skills for applying the physical modalities commonly employed in physical therapy. The physical therapy related modalities within the following areas will be covered: electromagnetic radiation (UV, IR, LASER), Mechanical (US, dystraction, compression), Thermal (conductive and convective heating, cryotherapy, diathermy, hydrotherapy).
