PHYT 7807 - Imaging Studies for Physical Therapy(2 credits) This course is an in-depth overview of imaging modalities. The student will study basic principles and terminology related to diagnostic radiology, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). An overview of diagnostic imaging studies related to the skeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems will be provided so the student can understand the role of imaging studies for clinical decision making in physical therapy (within the scope of the physical therapy practice act.)
