SOWK 5204 - Social Welfare Policy Analysis

Prerequisites: SOWK 5104. Emphasis is upon the processes and methods for understanding and analyzing social welfare policies/services at the local, state, and federal levels. Various welfare policy/services assumptions, socioeconomic political values, and analysis frameworks and research methodologies are examined. Also examined are the diverse organizational and political processes available for implementing/ influencing welfare policies and services.
