PMPR 4164 - Principles of Pharmacotherapy Lab(1 credit hour) Prerequisites: This course series will teach students to identify and assess medical and drug-related problems in patients and to recommend appropriate pharmacotherapy to achieve positive patient outcomes. Active learning techniques such as role playing, reviewing prescriptions and medications profiles, and counseling patients will be emphasized. The course consists of one laboratory session each week. Prerequisites and/or Corequisites: Must be enrolled in the 2nd professional year of the College of Pharmacy’s professional program leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
