(3 credits)Prerequisites:DIGM 2720, DIGM 2900, DIGM 1900, or permission of instructor. Corequistes:DIGM 4626. This course covers techniques and theory concerning motion graphics and compositing for video. Instruction is designed to bridge the gaps between 3-D production rendering and final output, live action, and computer generated imagery. Work will be project-based and will provide students with short, demo-reel quality work. Though not required, skills in DVD authoring, vector-based imaging, and advanced 3-D skills are helpful. (fall)
