ECED 4167 - Constructivist Inquiry Approach to Science and Math for Young Children

(3 credits)
Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education. Teacher candidates will explore developmentally appropriate methods based on constructivist theory for promoting scientific and mathematical inquiry among children in early childhood settings. A field experience in an EC classroom will ground the learners’ understanding. (fall, spring)
