ECED 5332 - Designing Early Childhood Environments
(3 credits) Research studies provide the rationale for planning, designing, and creating appropriate environments for young children (birth to age nine). Factors are considered that influence space and materials for infants, toddlers, pre schoolers, and primary age children. Selected early childhood facilities, classrooms, and playgrounds will be evaluated during the course. (summer; spring - odd years)
