CSCI 1900 - Math for Computer Science(3 credits) Prerequisites: Two years of high school algebra or equivalent. Corequisites: CSCI 1250 Students who are required to take learning support math must successfully complete it before taking CSCI 1900. Students will gain a working knowledge of set theory, mathematical induction and recursion, relations and digraphs, functions, trees and languages, finite-state machines, and languages and see how these topics are applied to the practice of computer science. (fall, spring, summer)
