MATH 1530 - Probability and Statistics (TN eCampus)(3 credits) Prerequisites: Two years of high school algebra and an acceptable placement score. An introduction to elementary methods and techniques. Topics include sampling, frequency distributions, elementary probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, and simple correlation. Intended primarily for business majors.
