(1 credit)Prerequisites: Completion of PHED 2440 or equivalent certification and permission of instructor. This course is designed to provide the Open Water Diver with advanced SCUBA skills obtained through additional classroom presentations beyond the basic level and at least five (5) open water SCUBA dives. The Advanced Open Water candidate will develop a more in-depth understanding of equipment, techniques, and safety factors associated with safely enjoying an advanced level of sport SCUBA diving.
