(3 credits)Prerequisites:MATH 1910 and MATH 1920. Corequisites:PHYS 2110. This is a calculus-based course in applied mechanics of engineering statics. Topics covered will include vectors, Newton’s laws, moments (torque), equilibria of rigid bodies, and aspects of friction. Three hours lecture each week.
