PHYS 2810 - Statics

(3 credits)
Prerequisites: MATH 1910  and MATH 1920 . Corequisites: PHYS 2110 . This is a calculus-based course in applied mechanics of engineering statics. Topics covered will include vectors, Newton’s laws, moments (torque), equilibria of rigid bodies, and aspects of friction. Three hours lecture each week.
