ACCT 4320 - Data Analytics for Accounting(3 credits) Prerequisites: ACCT 3320 A case-based strategy class where students develop skills and knowledge related to data creation, data sharing, data analytics, data mining, data reporting and storage of accounting information within and across organizations. Students experience integration of real-world strategies, privacy and security concerns, ethical issues, technology-driven changes in practice, and the complexities of decision making. Technology is used to gather, transform, and analyze data into meaningful accounting information for decision making.
