APPE 6520 - Anticoagulation-Ambulatory Care(4 credits) Prerequisites/Corequisites: Enrollment in 4th professional year (P4).
Exposes student to comprehensive anticoagulation management, including vitamin K antagonists, direct thrombin inhibitors, and heparins. Involves participating in inpatient and outpatient anticoagulation, including patient education, monitoring and dosing.
