BIOL 2992 - Research Orientation(2 credits) Prerequisites: BIOL 1110 and MATH 1530 .
Introduces current research topics and methods in the biological sciences and discusses methods and experimental design, and workshops on writing and oral presentations. Students select an area of investigation, and an appropriate faculty mentor for an individual research project, and complete a research prospectus. One two-hour meeting per week.
