CPSC 3550 - Patient Centered Practice(3 credits) Prerequisites: CPSC 3150 ; instructor approval.
Focuses on improving patient care through writing and using patient-driven protocols. AARC clinical practice guidelines and regional practices, and comparing differences or similarities in practice are explored. There is an emphasis on teaching patients and families how to perform modalities and actively participate in the return to wellness. This course is conducted using the World Wide Web (www) and an online laboratory.
