NRSE 3200 - Advancing to Professional Nursing Practice(3 credits) Prerequisites: Admission to the RN-BSN Program
Provides transition for the registered nurse pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Focuses on the role and function of the professional nurse. Theories and concepts of professional nursing are explored in relation to historical perspectives and contemporary nursing practice, with emphasis on quality, safe, patient centered care, evidence-based practice, legal considerations and ethical responsibilities.
