NRSE 4062 - R.N. Practicum

(5 credits)

Prerequisites: Completion of all required RN to BSN courses or permission of Undergraduate Program Director.

Corequisites: NRSE 4620.

Presents a clinical capstone that focuses on the preparation of the registered nurse for transition to professional nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on the development of leadership skills in the management of care for individuals/groups of clients, change processes to improve quality and safety of nursing care, information management, professionalism, interprofessional collaboration, ethical decision making and life-long learning.
